After nearly 30 years, Jeep is bringing back the Grand Wagoneer for 2022. This version will be roomier and more luxurious than the old Wagoneer, with three rows of seats and first-rate cabin materials. But those aren't the only changes Jeep has made to bring the Grand Wagoneer into the 21st century.
The 2022 Grand Wagoneer Concept comes with a plug-in hybrid electric powertrain that runs cleaner and more efficiently than gas-only engines. This hybrid motor will be just one of several engine options in the Grand Wagoneer production model.
The Quadra-Lift® Air suspension can be raised to give your Grand Wagoneer higher ground clearance and better all-terrain capability. You can also lower it for improved fuel economy and a more comfortable ride on pavement.
You'll enjoy a relaxed ambiance in the 2022 Grand Wagoneer. Its quiet interior offers top-notch materials like heat-treated lacewood with raw accent edging and authentic dual-texture metal framing.
The 2022 Grand Wagoneer Concept has four display screens up front that combine for nearly 45 inches of total screen space. Second-row passengers have more than 30 inches of total screen space, including a 10.1-inch comfort display screen on the center console and 10.1-inch entertainment touchscreens on the backs of both front seats.
The new Grand Wagoneer Concept has state-of-the-art LED headlights that move with your vehicle as you steer. An integrated motor turns the headlights in sync with the road so you can see better around turns at night.
The first Wagoneer came out in 1963 as one of the first ever four-wheel-drive SUVs. The Grand Wagoneer debuted in 1984, providing the most premium features and the highest tow rating in its class. In 2022, the Grand Wagoneer will return as the largest and most lavish Jeep SUV yet.
The 2022 Grand Wagoneer should have a starting MSRP of about $60,000, but official pricing hasn't been released yet.
